The conversion of the Atcost barn into a spacious five-bedroom residential dwelling, alongside the conversion of the adjacent traditional barn to create an annex, was a considerable undertaking. My role in this project encompassed the comprehensive preparation of a detailed design aimed at successfully achieving planning permission, which was initially obtained through a Class Q application process. Following this, I focused on the further development of the design to ensure full compliance with building regulations. Throughout the entire construction phase of the project, I provided continuous assistance and support to the client, ensuring that their vision was realised in every aspect of the work.
